It’s time for the second annual Marvelous Game Showcase! A localized version was posted by Marvelous Europe and Marvelous USA today, including updates on Project Magia, Story of Seasons, Rune Factory, and more. Featured segments<\/h1>\n

Farmagia (formerly Project Magia)<\/h2>\n

Project Magia has officially been named Farmagia, and this showcase presents the game’s opening animation featuring the cast of characters their powers. Some details about key characters are shared. Ten, the protagonist, acts before thinking. His childhood friend Archie is both competitive and kind. His other childhood friend, Chica, is more reserved. Lookie-Loo is Ten’s sidekick and sort-of mascot. Farmagia will be released this year, though platforms remain a mystery.<\/p>\n

Story of Seasons series<\/h2>\n

The next instalment in the beloved Story of Seasons series doesn’t have a title yet, but the developers are hard at work with a focus on visual improvements. Natural lighting and festival fireworks are better than ever. (Was that ever a complaint?) Details on the game remain scarce, with a full announcement expected at a later date. Two things confirmed, though, are a player-controlled glider and the return of pets.<\/p>\n

Arcade initiatives<\/h2>\n

Marvelous does have scope beyond PC and console games, and it has announced a few new arcade initiatives. Most are Japan-only (like a Pok\u00e9mon arcade machine), but Naturo: Arcade Battle will be available in Western territories as well. Players will engage in intense battles and collect plates, trying to reach the highest rank possible.<\/p>\n

Marvelous Indie Partners Lineup<\/h2>\n

Marvelous often publishes games from smaller indie developers, three of which were featured in today’s showcase. Bo: The Path of the Teal Lotus will only launch in Japan and Asia. The two other titles \u2013 Death the Guitar (scheduled for 2025) and Moonlight Peaks (scheduled for 2026) \u2013 will be released worldwide. Rune Factory series<\/h2>\n

A history of Rune Factory’s evolution is shown before a new video for Rune Factory: Project Dragon that introduces the game’s protagonists. Subaru and Kaguya are new Earthmates with a twist, as they use the power of dance (not farming) to interact with the world around them. Interact using non-combat tools (ie. drums), series staples weapons (ie. swords), and new weapon types (ie. talismans).<\/p>\n

Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion<\/h2>\n

Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion was revealed at last year’s showcase, ending the show with style. It does so again this year with an evocative look at the mech-action sequel. Platforms and a release date are yet to be announced.<\/p>\n
